Sneaky Green

Zara blouse, Levi's jeans, Marc Jacobs earrings

In a very sneaky way the color green has made it's way into my wardrobe. The subconsciousness is a fascinating thing. Do you ever wonder why you choose clothes in a particular color? Why do you become fixated on that color during a certain time but find it absolutely horrifying later in life? Why do you dislike some of the colors that are said to look good on you (by color analysis e.g.)?

If black appears too harsh against your fair skin, try something softer like dark green. Don't just settle for harsh! Get out of your comfort zone and try new colors, you might find yourself liking the unusual and the unexpected.

Same Blazer, Different Dress

dress: Diesel, blazer: JSK London, boots& wallet: Karen Millen

dress: Gina Tricot

Again, sorry for the poor quality of the pictures! I wanted to share a few ensembles with you from last Summer! Both can be easily transformed into more suitable for Winter by adding a pair of knitted leggings or stockings.

The blazer is from a small boutique in London, called JSK London. Most of the clothes they had weren't my style at all but there were some true gems among them. It's definitely worth checking out if you're going to London! I'm not a big fan of stripes in general but I've been very satisfied with my purchase.

I've been positively surprised with my white Gina Tricot cotton dress! It has served me for a good five years already! Believe it or not it hasn't worn out even a tiny bit. It's the only piece I own from the brand (and quite frankly, I tend to keep it that way).

Top: Zara, blazer: Selected Femme, pants: Abercrombie&Fitch

I got a special request from a reader regarding outfits.
I'm not very good with taking outfit of the day -pictures now since it's cold and dark outside, I would much rather enjoy the warmth of summer and that natural, luminous light that makes the skin glow. Who wouldn't!?
I apologize for the bad quality and graininess of these pictures (and the wrinkly blazer)!

Top: Zara, shorts: Levi's (cut from jeans), knit: Zara, sandals: Payless Shoes
